Adventure Park Geelong gears up for summer season

Victoria's largest water theme park opens gates to splash into summer season.

Home of waterslides, mini golf and rides, Adventure Park is gearing up for another hot summer in Wallington. Extending hours and open until 30 March, the park is ready to welcome families and fun-seekers with its exciting mix of water attractions, rides and summer festivities.

Following on from a successful Christmas festive period with their Christmas Festival Lights night time event welcoming in thousands of families and tourists to explore the glowing installations across the park, the summer period sees the sun-soaked day activities highlighted.

Adventure Park is home to Victoria’s biggest and longest Proslide Tornado waterslide, a fan-favourites that delivers heart-stopping, adrenaline-pumping thrills. Alongside the Tornado visitors can enjoy over 20 rides and attractions including the relaxing Lazy River, the speed racing Aqua Racer and the family-friendly water play areas and waterslides suitable for all ages.

If getting wet is not in your wheelhouse, there are plenty of activities on dry land for the whole family to enjoy including mini golf, the Ferris Wheel, Grand Carousel, the Crazy Coaster and the Little Buggy Speedway. If you’re after a relaxing time, the VIP experience is for you. Book the VIP cabana for a private oasis complete with comfortable lounge seating and space to relax away from the crowds.

Birthday party packages for the summer babies are back, which includes a free reserved table and seating, free car parking and VIP express entry to the park and rides.

As always, recharge on the mouth-watering food available around the park including burgers, ice creams, churros and other hot meals.

With the park open across the Christmas period, excluding Christmas Day, there really is no better time to get down to Adventure Park for a family day. Their flexible $64 for adults (120cm+), $54 for juniors (90 – 120cm), $45 for seniors (60+) and free entry for children under 90cm. There are also family packages available for two adults and two kids for under $250.
