A virtual Tiger King trivia is happening next week

Buckle in cats and kittens, this is going to be fun.

Netflix documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness has somehow managed to temporarily distract a world stressed out by the coronavirus crisis and became a phenomenon that essentially broke the internet in recent weeks. The wildly popular seven-episode series, directed by Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin, focuses on Joseph Maldonado-Passage, aka Joe Exotic, and his Oklahoma exotic-animal park, and by now, most of you will have binged through it in a day.

If you tuned in, and you were paying attention – you’d be pleased to know there’s a Tiger King trivia going down in Australia next month – virtually.

Going live at 7:30pm (Sydney time) on Friday May 8, this is set to be the ultimate trivia dedicated to Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin and all their strange but engrossing stories. Running for two-hours, this quiz promises to put your knowledge to the test with thought-provoking questions, who-said-this quotes, quick fire rounds and fun games that span topics from lions and tigers to polygamy and killing-for-hire.

You’re sure to finish having learned even more startling facts than you knew before, which is going to be half the fun.

People are also being encouraged to dress up as their favourite character from the show just to make things interesting, with prizes for best dressed (think mullets, leopard print and pink sequin shirts), along with a number of other prizes up for grabs throughout.

It’s only $10 to enter a device and you can get your whole house competing with that one entry on The Virtual Quiz’s event. The Virtual Quiz will be donating a portion of the proceeds to help in the fight against the coronavirus.

If you need to revisit the docuseries before the trivia quiz starts, then make sure you take notes.
