The spectacular sci-fi thriller spooked us all when it hit Australian wavelengths in July, and now Melbourne will pay homage to the cult hit with a huge Halloween party.
Jonathan Byers’ record collection was a trademark of Stranger Things, featuring music from the likes of some of the best ’70s and ’80s rock outfits, including Joy Division, The Clash, The Smiths and Television. Expect to hear those sweet tracks all night long.
The entire Byers archive will be brought together for Halloween, on a night where there will also be a free themed photobooth and a venue decorated to fit the web series. A $100 bar tab will be awarded to the best costume, in honour of the long forgotten Barb.
Choose whether to stay or go when Stranger Things comes to life at Good Things Bar on Sunday October 30.
