Announced last week on social media, this massive two-day festival is being dubbed a metal, punk and rock rendezvous, spearheaded by leading Australian promoter Destroy All Lines, who are also behind the likes of festivals Full Tilt, Good Things and No Sleep Til’, as well as famed acts Polaris, Deez Nuts, Poppy, All Time Low, The Bronx and Enter Shikari, among many others.

Set to take place on December 30 and 31, the festival has unveiled its location as none other than regional tourist attraction Kryal Castle in Ballarat.

A legendary land of adventure, with knights, dragons, wizards, kings, queens, princesses, fairies and so much more, Australia’s only medieval adventure park has long been providing family fun for visitors since opening in 1974. Whether it’s a journey through the chambers of the Dragons Labyrinth to discover the legend of Kryal; experiencing the drama of a medieval joust as knights and their warhorses battle it out on the main arena; or getting lost in a maze and learning the ancient art of archery, this venue has been successful in capturing the glory and mystery of times past.

While it’s certainly never hosted a two-day mental, punk and rock festival before, Knight and Day Festival will offer an entirely new festival experience to music lovers and festival goers in the region.

There is no other information about the event other than the Social Media accounts and a Save The Date Facebook event.
