A Ping Pong Championship is going down at a Geelong brewery this weekend

Who's up for a game of ping pong this weekend?

It’s time to channel your inner Forrest Gump, because Blackman’s is hosting a larger-than-life table tennis tournament this weekend.

Launched last year as part of their Good Beer Week shenanigans, the beloved crew at Blackman’s Brewery in Grovedale is running their second Australian/International Ping Pong Tournament.

Since opening the doors to the Grovedale venue almost a year ago, locals and visitors alike have fallen in love with the new Blackman’s Brewery, gifting us a new watering hole pouring a frothy range of refreshing brews from a beautiful and bright refurbished warehouse location.

While Good Beer Week may not be going ahead this year, the epic Ping Pong tournament will return to this beloved location, taking over the refurbished warehouse on Sunday, May 22 for a day of fierce ping pong – and many pints to fuel the fine athletes taking upon the challenge of course!

Running from 12pm, this event promises to be a Sunday sesh of epic proportions as punters throw their hat in to become the second Blackman’s Ping Pong champion.

Tennis Whites and Headbands are essential and there’s bragging rights for the best dressed on the day, with a tonne of beer prizes to be won.

To take on the challenge and enjoy some awesome beer, keen ping pongers just need to purchase a ticket for $15, which covers your tournament entry and a pint.

Tickets available here.
