Scream! This is Halloween.

Hailed as Australia’s largest emo and pop punk night, touring both nationally and internationally to sold-out crowds, Taking Back Saturday is bringing huge party vibes to Geelong for the spookiest time of the year.

Taking place on Friday, October 28, Taking Back Saturday DJs will transform this CBD mainstay into a haunted house with all the best emo and pop punk tunes across the venue, promising an epic night of MMRS, closing the god damn door and marching to The Black Parade.

“Attention all goblins, ghouls and Ghosts On The Dancefloor! Round up Miss Murder and all the Nearly Witches because This Is Halloween!!,” the event description reads.

“Put on your most spooktacular costumes and come and celebrate Emo Christmas with us at Lambys Tavern! We’ll get down to Misery Business on the dancefloor, celebrating our favourite holiday with all your favourite emo and pop punk tunes! You’ll wish it was Forever Halloween!

“Vampires Will Never Hurt You, but missing out on tickets will!! To secure your spot hailing the pumpkin king with us grab your tickets.”

As for the music, expect to hear absolute bangers by the likes of My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco, Paramore and Fall Out Boy to absolute belters from folks like The All American Rejects, Bullet From My Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember and Escape The Fate (with a few familiar pop-punk anthems and era staples thrown in for good measure). The Used, You Me At Six, Halsey, Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182… the gang’s all here.

Catering to nostalgia with commitment, prepare to down beers, mosh and sing along to some of the best emo and pop punk songs of all time, shouting every lyric as loudly as possible while dressed in your most spooky of getups.

The Halloween Party takes over Lambys Tavern in Geelong on Friday, October 28. You can purchase tickets here
