A free celebration of Aussie blues is happening this weekend

Your weekend plans are sorted!
After an epic event last year, the Docklands Blues Music Festival is back for 2018 and is ‘Goin’ Down to Memphis’ with a free celebration of Deep South blues this weekend.
With a lineup of more than 20 Australian artists and bands, this event will hit The District
Docklands from 11am – 3pm Saturday 20th October and Sunday from 11am – 9pm on Sunday 21st
October.
Boasting some of the country’s foremost blues musicians, it’s one nonstop blues jam and a full weekend of continuous music across a variety of indoor and outdoor stages and licensed venues.
Over the two days, four stages including the Wonderland Stage and the Urban Alley Brewery Stage will feature headliners such as Chicago blues outfit Electric Blues Collective, Bendigo blues favourite Bill Barber, Sydney’s sensation PJ O’Brien, Geelong’s Brian Fraser, singer/songwriter Mike Elrington, country blues band Rhythm X Revival, Melbourne Blues Society’s ‘Youth in Blues’ showcase, and on the back of a European tour, Sweet Felicia and the Honeytones.
