Celebrate the traditions of Mexico this October and November with the Day of the Dead Fiesta.

Back in 2017, Pixar Animation Studio made masses bawl their eyes out with their Day of the Dead-inspired kids film Coco. As with most kids movies, it came with an important message about tradition, with the film vibrantly honouring one of Mexican cultures biggest.

The Day of the Dead is an annual Mexican holiday, where festivities are held to honour ancestors and family members who have passed with decorations including calaveras and marigold flowers, building at home alters and feasts of food. In some cases other Mexican traditions can be involved which is what entertainment company Lucha Fantastica is doing this year bringing Mexican wrestling to audiences across Australia with Day of the Dead Fiesta.
