Described as one of the hardest working duos in Australia they return to Ballarat and Bendigo after an extensive run of performances across three states. A highlight was performing in front of 5,000 people when they opened for the band “Mental as Anything” in Heywood earlier this year. Lily and the Drum continue to tour promoting their second full length album Welcome Change. Lily on vocals and guitar unites with John on percussion, harmonica and backing vocals to produce a full sound that has been described as “Honest, raw and energetic”. Their music encompasses a variety of genres but can be best described as contemporary blues, rock and roots. In addition to their own material, the duo perform a few great tunes from their favourite artists and promise the performance will be a “fun musical journey”.
