Returning to the beloved Collins Booksellers Ballarat on Lydiard, the ever-popular treasure hunt has made its return for the winter school holidays.

Designed for first-year Hogwarts students through to members of the Order of the Phoenix, the treasure hunt will immerse you in the world of Hogwarts. No matter what your level is, this treasure hunt will make you feel like you are part of the wizarding world.

“If you have ever participated in our Harry Potter Treasure Hunt, you will know the pure joy it brings to muggles (and the odd witch or wizard),” the store said.

“Our treasure hunt is set up for these school holidays, with new clues to follow and fun props to find. It is all self paced so you can enjoy this at a time that suits you.”

To participate, simply head in-store any time (no need to book) and keep an eye out for Hedwig and any unauthorised magic that might be taking place.

And of course, under strict instructions from the Ministry of Magic, dressing up is permitted.

The free treasure hunt will run from Saturday 25 June until Friday 8 July. Located at 22 Lydiard Street North, the bookstore is open Monday-Thursday 9am-5.30pm, Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
