The album, Rivers Run Dry, is due for release on Friday, 21 July 2023 and features 12 songs and largely recorded over ten days at Rancom St Studios in Sydney. Rivers Run Dry is a musical feast once more displaying Mossy’s well-documented guitar-playing genius and a voice that floats like a butterfly and yet can pack the punch of a Mallee bull. Either way, it is unforgettable.
Alongside the news of the new regional tour, Moss has also dropped the next single from the album in Nullarbor Plain, co-written with the brilliant Troy Cassar-Daley, is a musical snapshot of our vast, wide land.
“The Nullarbor Plain is such an open and harsh part of Australia that I have driven I don’t know how many times with Cold Chisel and by myself. Whilst vast, the beauty of it never ceases to amaze me. I trust my co-writer Troy Cassar-Daley and I have captured a little of both in ‘Nullarbor Plain’. Who wouldn’t want to do that drive in a 351 shaker!?”
Rivers Run Dry is released on Friday, 21 July 2023 through Universal Music Australia. General public tickets go on sale at 9.00am (local times) on Tuesday, 30 May 2023 from here.
