You can stop holding your breath. It’s finally here.
Hailed as one of Victoria’s best boutique festivals over the last couple of years, Loch Hart Music Festival has lifted the lid on the artists set to perform in the small scenic town of Princetown when the festival makes its anticipated return for summer, following its magical first edition in two years back in January.
Situated a stone’s throw from The Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge along Victoria’s iconic Great Ocean Road, the grassroots BYO event will be bringing more than 20 world-class acts over one November weekend to one stage in a natural amphitheatre at Kangaroobie Camp

Leading the festival’s fourth edition, is the likes of UFO of the Australian scene Alien Nosejob; two-piece electronic act Digital Afrika; Melbourne electric collective Empress; garage punk rock duo Good Sniff, producer, bandleader and synthesist Harvey Sutherland; Melbourne locals Hobsons Bay Coast Guard; Australia’s queen of soul Kylie Auldist; Nurse Punk Band Wurst Nurse and more.
You’ll also see the likes of Galah, the local supergroup filled with artists who play in other bands including Eggy, Mug, Sledgehammer, Bad Bands, Thibault and Kosmetika; South Sudanese legend Gordon Koang; Jarrah Ma – the solo project of Sandy Dish’s guitarist; Lightbulb (aka Mikey Cahill); DJ extraordinaire La Porgretta; Melbourne’s ageless boy wonder Milo Eastwood; Fashion icons meet pop sensations WIIGZ; half country, half folk, full-time storyteller Watty Thompson with a 10-piece band; neo-soul, alternative-pop and jazz-rock music project Velvet Bloom; Melbourne-based disco jazz collective Squid Nebula; singer-songwriter Harmony Byrne; DJ and live choir Sunshine & Disco Faith Choir; noted Australian treasure Peter Bibby; Melbourne folk musician Leah Senior; and Party Dozen, a sonic partnering of saxophonist Kirsty Tickle and percussionist Jonathan Boulet.
The closing slot on Saturday night requires a very specific sound, and a very specific talent, and this year we’ll see Roy Blues enchanting crowds with his ability to play the synth and drums simultaneously with perfect transitions from song to song. Those still at the stage until 3am are in the ride of their lives. There’s a reason Bonobo, CC:Disco and RÜFÜS DU SOL are queuing up his records.
Alongside the music, Loch Hart also promises three days of region-first focused comedy, art, yoga, crafts and more this November, with the likes of Aaron Gocs, Blake Freeman, Emma Holland, Sonia Di Iorio and Tim Hewitt leading the comedy lineup.
