After amassing a legion of loyal customers over the past few months, Jaimie and Maddy McGlashan, the faces behind Farm Dog Brewing, are giving their pop-up concept a permanent home at McGlashan’s estate Cellar Door, a beautiful spot owned by their proud parents, Russ and Janno McGlashan.
Originally operating out of the cellar door on Friday evenings, their parents have taken a step sideways from the Cellar Door and kindly entrusted the team at FarmDog Brewing to continue to provide good times to all their amazing customers. Having gone from strength to strength in such a short period of time, FarmDog Brewing will now be operating out of McGlashan’s estate Cellar Door from Thursday through to Sunday from 11am-5pm as well as keeping their well-loved Friday nights.

Signalling an evolution of McGlashan’s Estate, FarmDog Brewing is a vibrant family-run microbrewery with a keen focus on beer and gin. A typical Friday night at the pop-ups would involve the woodfire pizza oven roaring and the beers flowing, with the most popular choice being their Pale Ale and Small Batch Gin and Tonic. You’ll also find a crisp and refreshing FarmDog lager, a dark ale, and I.P.A, as well as clever specialty gins.
With gin tasting boards and a beer paddle both paired with tasting notes and flavour profiles, the team made you feel like a real pro sipping away on these flavoursome delights. With a local mindset, brewers and distillers are always found onsite to explain all things grains and botanicals to allow your taste buds to understand and embrace our unique flavours.
With guest appearances from their trusty four-legged farmhands, FarmDog Brewing quickly won locals hearts with its friendly, relaxed atmosphere, quality produce and good vibes that people want to keep coming back to – and now you can four days out of the week.
Of course, everything you loved about McGlashan’s cellar door will remain the same with platters, pizzas and wine all still available.
