There’s a new ramen bar in Geelong and it looks delicious

Opening yesterday, Sober Ramen is the newest food joint to join the booming Little Malop precinct in Geelong.

Located at 85 Little Malop St (previously the People’s Potatoes), the store offers dumplings, sake, ramen and a great alternative to your night out.

Sober Ramen joins the likes of the Southern American feast at Pistol Pete’s, fried chicken at Hot Chicken Project, fine wine at Geelong Cellar Door, smoked meats at Workers Club and more.

The new store has been opened by Nathan Johnston, who also operates Cartel Coffee Roasters on the same street. There are set to be many more new businesses opened, with developer Bill Votsaris (who owns many of the buildings in the street) cautious of the blend of restaurants and bars opening to ensure they compliment not compete.
