‘Extinction’ Locked in for Arts Centre Run

Partnered with Red Stitch Actors Theatre and Geelong Performing Art Centre, Arts Centre Melbourne have announced a new cast for this Hannie Rayson play.

Directed by film director and producer Nadia Tass, Extinction highlights the endangered tiger quoll species, which happens to be the largest marsupial predator on the Australian mainland. Set in the Victorian Otways, the play hones in on a passionate environmentalist and a good samaritan who pair up to save the species. However, their participation may compromise their intentions.

Performers Natasha Herbert and Colin Lane will join Red Stitch ensemble members Brett Cousins and Ngaire Dawn Fair in order to breathe life into Extinction.

Extinction will run at Arts Centre Melbourne, Fairfax Studio, on Tuesday August 9 to Sunday August 13. Tickets via their website.
