Jeez, it must be pretty okay living in Geelong. Next month we see the introduction of Streetlife, Geelong’s first laneway festival, and it’s looking like being a ripping new addition to the festival family. Giving you their time and their talent will be The Delta Riggs, Jinja Safari, Residual, Imogen Brough, Revolution, Levi Anderson, Jack Harman, Luke Biscan and Izzy Losi. That is a pretty fine local representation you have there.
Sarah Howells, presenter of triple j’s ‘Roots n All’ program, will be spinning her magic as well. Plus, there will be plenty of food and drink to enjoy throughout the day. Downes Lane, Downes Place, John Street – November 14. Hit streetlifefestival.com.au for more.
The festival is also seeking volunteers to help with different elements of the festivals operations and there are three different shift times to be worked.
