17 bands and four more stages added to Gizzfest

As if Gizzfest wasn’t already going to be a pearler, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s festival has just added 17 bands to its lineup.

Four live music shed stage experiences have been added to the Melbourne incarnation, each with its own dedicated lineup for the day.

Taking to the Panache stage will be Guided Group Meditation with Dinner, Emma Russack, GUM, Bitch Diesel and Tim Presley.

Elsewhere, Palm Springs, Crepes, Stu Mackenzie and Dreamin’ Wild will be repping the Flightless stage while Aarght Records will showcase Hierophants, Tommy T & The Classical Mishaps, Spotting and Cereal Killer.

Capping it off comes sets from Greta Now, School Damage, Waterfall Person and Parsnip.

The announcement arrives in the wake of a huge end of year finale for King Gizz, being nominated for multiple awards including five ARIAs, two J Awards, three Music Victoria Awards and three NLMAs.

It’s all going down at Coburg Velodrome on Saturday November 26. Tickets via Oztix.
