Enjoy a weekend of wine and great food at Toast to the Coast this weekend

It’s that time of the year again, when the illustrious Toast to the Coast takes keen wine drinkers (more than 4,000 to be exact) on a stroll through the Bellarine, Moorabool Valley and Surf Coast regions.

There’s a certain charm to each region, and with more than 25 wineries participating, you are simply spoiled for choice of the finest Shiraz, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from the likes of Leura Park, Scotchmans Hill, Bellarine Estate, Clyde Park, Terindah Estate, Austins & Co and Lethbridge Wines – just to name a few.

Your weekend pass gets you a pretty fancy take home Geelong wine glass which is your ticket to free wine tastings at all the vineyards. That includes tasting of rare back vintages, new release premium wines and award-winning drops. Allowing guests right inside the cellar doors, there will be opportunities to meet the makers behind the wineries and chat about the origin, flavour and body of your top picks.

There will also be an array of entertainment from some of the best local musicians, delicious lunch options and a range of boutique produce available.

And the best part? You don’t need to worry about the car. Buses depart from central Geelong on both days and takes you to one of the three sub regions where you can explore the ins and outs, with unlimited travel between wineries all weekend.

It’s a perfect excuse to indulge for the wine lovers, locals, tourists, or for those of you just looking for something fun to do on the weekend. Kick back and relax as you take in the scene views of some of the best vineyards with a glass of Pinot Noir.
