Not even two years since the release of her enchanting debut single ‘First Light’, indie-pop sensation Yorke has revealed her emotionally charged debut EP Liberosis, captivating us once again.
They’re crafting crispy beats in isolation, trying to water the seeds of Australia’s emerging Brazilian Bass scene, so that when we can all safely go out and get munted in clubs again, it’ll be ready to bloom.

With glorious tracks ‘Green Eyes’, ‘Post Acid’, the title track ‘King of the Beach’ and ‘Stained Glass (Won’t Let Me Into Yr Heart)’ leading the charge, King of the Beach was the start of a new era for Williams, moving out of mums basement and into the recording studio with Dennis Herring.
Inspired by this ‘look’, Canberra’s National Portrait Gallery has put together a collection of photographic portraits of extraordinary Australians, reflecting a wonderful range of Australian achievement; and they’ve just launched it at the Geelong Gallery.
