The HIIT Project

Basing itself around the motto ‘we don’t just exercise, we train’, The HIIT Project began with the aim of making a change to how people view exercise.

As the name may suggest, The HIIT Project is focused on High Intensity Interval Training (aka HIIT). This method is known to be highly effective for those who are chasing a goal and hoping to reach it in the shortest amount of time possible. With this being said, it’s also a good option for the time poor. That’s right, that means there’s no more using the excuse of ‘I have no time’ to avoid working out.

HIIT involves working out at high intensities, for short durations, followed by brief rest periods. This method has been known to have a high level of efficacy in increasing cardiovascular fitness, as well as increasing lean muscle mass and burning fat. All the things we want (and need) in life.

Founded in late 2016, The HIIT Project has been working to share its practical knowledge in Exercise and Sports Sciences with its clients, in the hope that it will enable them to live their best life possible. Founder Bree Filippone has come from an Exercise and Sport Science background, allowing her to specifically cater for this. She has had industry experience in strength and conditioning and has worked alongside leading Exercise Psychologists, as well as Strength and Conditioning Coaches.

All workouts are programmed to ensure they’re hard work, yet smart, so that the body is built up, rather than broken down.

Acknowledging there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to training, each session will undergo meticulous planning. It is then periodised and prescribed, with flexibility for personal adjustments to be made along the way.

The HIIT Project pride themselves on creating sessions in this way, especially since each of us is so significantly different. It addresses that each individual will have come from a different training background and will have different goals, as well as different physical capabilities. This is all without even accounting for our differences in body shape.

Allowing for all people, of all fitness levels to jump on board and move forward at their own pace, no one will feel left behind.

Boasting elements which focus on nutrition, stretch, mindfulness and of course exercise, The HIIT Project invite all to join them in embracing a holistic approach to health and fitness.
