The café at The Wool Exchange Entertainment Complex is the ideal venue for breakfast, lunch, business meetings, catch-ups with friends or celebrations. Featuring a relaxed, modern menu created by skilled chefs, the café is a stylish place to meet friends or business colleagues, with expansive windows bathing the restaurant in natural light.
Breakfast is served each weekday in the Geelong café from 7.30am and guests are often greeted in the restaurant by the aroma of freshly cooked muffins prepared that very morning by the dedicated chefs alongside some beautiful coffee. Lunch is also on offer during the week with items suited to both light lunches or a more substantial restaurant-style meal.
The café is also a Geelong function room for hire and is the perfect night time or weekend venue for special dinners, parties, corporate functions or even small Geelong wedding receptions, and given that the Wool Exchange Entertainment Complex has helped bring such international and national music acts as Karnivool, Pete Murray and Amity Affliction to Geelong, they are well adept at handling large crowds.
The Wool Exchange also hosts High Tea every so often – a nod to the building’s bygone era. Dozens of people each week pack the restaurant for a glass of bubbly, tea or coffee, homemade sandwiches and favourite treats from scones to lamingtons and hedgehog slice. People flock from as far as Bendigo and Ballarat for the high tea sessions, so booking is a must, but it isn’t an experience to miss.
