Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is bringing the longest lunch to Ballarat next year

Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is bringing the longest lunch to Ballarat on March 31 next year. The event is a chance to feast on the region’s best produce straight from the paddocks, patches and vines in the area.

Hosted down one of the city’s unique laneways, a five course menu will be served up by a collaboration of some of the region’s best chefs – with each course perfectly matched to award-winning wine and beers.

The event, while being part of the larger Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, showcases what’s on offer in regional Vic from the many chefs, farmers and producers in the region – and there is cause for celebration.

The Longest Lunch will be hosted at the lane between The Lane at The George Hotel to Hop Temple, starting at midday, and finishing around 4pm.

Enter from either: The Lane at The George Hotel, 27 Lydiard Street North, Ballarat Hop Temple, Rear of 24 Armstrong Street North, Ballarat

Tickets will be $150 per person from melbournefoodandwine.com.au, and are available now. For more information visit the website.
