Vera Blue just announced a massive tour with stops in Geelong and Bendigo

Following the announcement of her new single Mended, Vera Blue is heading out on a national tour.

The 16-date tour stops off at the Tap House in Bendigo and the Wool Exchange in Geelong, with a slot also performing at Byron Bay festival Splendour in the Grass.

This single follows on from previous track Private, which gained 2 million streams worldwide. Aside from this release the singer has worked collaboratively with other musicians, loaning her vocals to their tracks.

Mended arose from a writing session in Malibu, where the honest lyrics were penned alongside Andy and Thom Mak.

“‘Mended’ is a very special song,” Vera Blue says. “It was about a relationship that I had a few years ago. It had been a little while since we’d ended it and we hadn’t made amends, said we were sorry. It’s funny because you think the song is going to be about resolution, but we haven’t quite made it there yet.”

This newest single comes ahead of the highly anticipated debut album from the singer – which is expected to be released the end of the year.

You can catch her at the Tap House in Bendigo on Tuesday, August 8 and the Wool Exchange in Geelong on Saturday, August 12. Tickets on sale via the website.
