Uncle Donut is officially open in Geelong after selling out on Sunday

Donut lovers of Geelong your prayers have been answered with a dedicated store for your dough-based treats.

Uncle Donut opened on Sunday, February 26, with 500 free donuts from midday in what was previously a late night fast food store on Little Malop Street.

As you can image (especially with free donuts on offer) there were queues down the street and the donuts sold out. The venue is set to reopen on Wednesday with a whole slew of delicious new treats.

It’s also worth saying a special thank you to the chef Mr Van Schie for the delicious dough treats.

The new store is operated by the owners of popular Ocean Grove cafe Uncle Jack’s, and brings glazed, dusted, fried, filled and gluten-free handcrafted donut varieties to Geelong.

Check them out on Facebook here, or when they reopen at 10am on Wednesday, March 1.
