The Spiegeltent Geelong have dropped their full program for 2019

Last month it was revealed that internationally recognised arts event company, Strut & Fret was presenting the inaugural season of Spiegeltent Geelong, featuring a world-class line up of cabaret, comedy and music at Johnstone Park from 30 May – 23 June 2019.

Alongside the previously announced headline act LIMBO, where attendees will experience the dizzying heights and death-defying acts of the award-winning, sword swallowing, fire breathing, acrobatically awesome international cast, the full Spiegeltent program has finally been revealed.

For those keen on a bit of cabaret, you’ll be entertained by the living legend that inspired Priscilla, the iconic Carlotta, when she performs her latest show Queen Of The Cross on Wednesday 12th June, or if you’re more into dance you can tap your feet to the infectious and energetic routine of Indigenous dance and theatre smash-hit sensations Djuki Mala when they take to the stage on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th June.

It’s not a show without a splash of comedy! Guests have the chance to laugh out loud to new stand-up sets from fan favourite comedians Judith Lucy with Judith Lucy vs Men on Saturday 8th June, Tom Gleeson’s Joy on Thursday 13th June and Joel Creasey’s DRINK. SLAY. REPEAT on Saturday 22nd June.

Music is of course a special part of this year’s Spiegeltent with three of the country’s best female chart-toppers Renée Geyer (Sunday 9th June), Ella Hooper (Sunday 16th June) and Kate Ceberano (Thursday 20th June) heading to the big top tent.

There will also be a full-licensed pop-up bar for pre-show drinks as well as the delicious Gyoza Records serving pre-show snacks.

It’s all going down in the big top tent between 30th May – 23rd June at Johnstone Park, Geelong. Don’t miss it!
