The Rolling Stones have just released their first new song in eight years

New Music Friday is just that little bit sweeter today.

Rock’n’roll living legends The Rolling Stones have just released their first new song in eight years, named ‘Living In A Ghost Town’.

Written by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards, ‘Living In A Ghost Town’ was recorded between both LA and London, with the band preparing the song for release in isolation. With its haunting melody resonating with fans in regards to the times we’re living in right now, it’s clear the Stones still have some good tunes in them!

“So, let’s cut a long story short. We cut this track well over a year ago in L.A. for part of a new album, an ongoing thing, and then shit hit the fan Mick and I decided this one really needed to go to work right now and so here you have it, ‘Living in a Ghost Town’. Stay safe,” Keith Richards said in a statement today.
