The Fundraiser Kickstarting a Living-History Project

Kick off the weekend with your Friday night at the Old Paper Mills in Fyansford for some good old fashioned fundraising. It will be the place to be to indulge in an array of live Music, Donna Squire Photography Exhibition, UBU Gallery Art Auction, Provenance Wine Auction, and Truffleduck will be keeping all foodies happy – all to help raise funds to support the Hubcaps to Creative Hubs initiative.

Crafted by Deakin University and Creative Geelong, Hubcaps to Creative Hubs is a living-history research project, that aims to document the creative transformation taking place in Geelong’s former industrial sites.

The plan is to shoot three high quality documentary films which will tell the story of how Geelong’s industrial heritage spaces have been flipped from manufacturing, to a diverse range of art and culture based activities.

Support the project on the night by buying a glass of Provenance’s boutique wine and a tasting plate of Truffleduck’s delicious canapés while you meet the project team in the atmosphere of the Old Paper Mills.

The fundraiser runs from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Old Paper Mills.

If you can’t make it to the fundraiser, you can pledge online via Pozible.
