The Deck is hosting the very first Geelong Comedy Club

Geelongs First Official Comedy night is getting ready to unleash some of the regions best comedians in an intimate space, on level 1 at the The Deck Geelong
Featuring YouTube funny dude and all round cool guy Aaron Gocs, ‘the classic stitch up guy’ is ready to share his wisdom and tell a few funny stories along the way.
Starting his comedy career in early 2007 as a nervous but excited performer in a style that was a tribute to his idols such as Mitch Hedberg, Carl Barron and Demetri Martin, Gocs’ hard work and dedication to his craft over the ensuing years has seen his act develop to a point where he is a confident performer with a unique, individual style that often receives an appreciative response from audiences of all ages.
Gocs’ comedy involves short, quirky stories and anecdotes. He covers a range of material that he observes happening in this wacky world of ours.
Other local comedians to hit the Mic will be Abbey Newman, Nick Capper as Heard on the Little Dumb Dumb Club and hosting the night will be Jake Budge from behind the bar stirring up a Budgey Smuggler Cocktail that will be served during the night.
With a name like that, this cocktail is fitting to a good time and some serious laughs, making it the perfect drink of choice for this night of comedy.
It’s just $5 entry as well, so round up a crew, pop in early for Parmi Night and head upstairs for bulk laughs and a round of Budgey Smugglers.
The show will be at the Deck Geelong, 2 Gheringhap street Geelong from 7:30pm.
