7 of the best meal deals you can get in Geelong at the moment

Who doesn’t love an isolation-friendly meal special?!

Offering the perfect opportunity to eat delicious food, save moola, and indulge in that little ‘treat yo-self’ moment in the midst of a social distancing world, opting to order takeaway is not only super convenient, but it’s also an easy way to support the local businesses doing it tough right now.

Here are a couple of our favourite eateries doing the sweetest deals around town.

$10 Boss Burger
For those who love a greasy, meaty, cheese filled, dripping with delicious-goodness burger, Boss Burger Co. has long been a favourite around town. Known for their customisable burgers (think mac & cheese balls and double bacon), the joint kicks ass with their offerings of chicken and beef burgers, flame grilled ribs, boss dogs, loaded fries, mac ‘n’ cheese balls, jalapeno poppers, shakes, and even mozzarella sticks.

While their beef is second to none, it’s their Tommy the Chook that kicks the burger experience up to the next level, and at $10 on a Tuesday, it’s a little taste of heaven. Complete with crunchy, southern fried chicken, cheese, creamy slaw and siracha mayo, this burger is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Who’s shout?

Boss Burger has locations in Waurn Ponds, Geelong West, Leopold, Torquay, Ballarat, and Colac. You can order direct from all locations and through Deliveroo at select locations. Visit the website for specific store details.

Sunday Breaky Box
If you ever find yourself asking what’s better than a Sunday morning sleep in, the answer is a Sunday spent with an excellent coffee in one hand and a spoonful of something delicious in the other.

While social distancing and the current restrictions mean we can’t go out to our central Sunday hotspots, Armstrong Creek’s well-loved neighbourhood cafe and pizza bar Warralily Cockatoo have you covered with their Sunday Breaky Boxes.

Offering up an affordable solution to your Sunday breaky, you can order a box with two bacon and egg rolls, four hash browns, two orange juice, and two large coffees for just $50! Order it as a treat to seizing the morning on a Sunday, or tuck into it in bed – there’s no judgment here.

Pickup and deliveries start from 8am Sunday morning (within 8km of the store) and can be ordered via www.warralilycockatoo.com or 03 5264 1992.
