Spend NYE at the Bluestone Blues Festival

Are you keen on celebrating your New Year’s Eve by having some beers and listening to some great live music, but camping for three days with thousands of 20 year olds doesn’t seem like a great time? Don’t stress, The Bluestone Blues Festival (held 20km out of Geelong) has you covered.

Running over two days, the family friendly festival held by Geelong’s own Sleepy Hollow Blues Club is now going into its 22nd year, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Kicking off the celebrations at 6pm on New Year’s Eve will be Brian Fraser and The Drive, Dreamboogie, Simon Kinny-Lewis, Paulie Bignell and the Thornbury Two and to bring in the New Year, the fabulous Chris Wilson Band will see the party through.

Recovery Day kicks off at 11.00am with Troy Wilson and Electric Larry who will chase away any NYE hangovers when they take to the stage, local lads Derek and the Champs, bluesters Ian Wilson, Gary Quick, Peter Kure and Rod Hoe, The Stevie Paige Band and Louis King and the Liars Klub will finish off Recovery Day with a bang!

There will be free camping for ticket holders, a range of hot and cold food, and plenty of beer, spirits and soft drink to cater to all tastes.
