Pause Fest is the massive celebration of creative technologies hitting Melbourne

Starting six years ago, Pause Fest is the premier creative tech conference and festival for Asia Pacific.

An event that nurtures and showcases innovation in the creative tech industries, the festival brings these new technologies to light and into the hands of the public.

Split across three days and with the themes creative, tech and business, the event brings some of the finest leaders, speakers and innovative thinkers to Federation Square in Melbourne.

This year sees more than 45 speakers, ranging from the co-founder of Pozible Rick Chen and creative director of Google Iain Nealie to the co-founder of StartUp Muster, Monica Wulff.

Pause also sees its youngest speaker in Rebecca Rusinovic, who (currently aged 16) had her first entrepreneurial venture at 13 years of age. She currently looks after organic teen skincare range, Bahama Belle.

There are also a series of experiences (3D Printed Breakfast and Telsta Test Drives as a highlight), panels (discussing things like how to make ideas happen), workshops (how to “predict the future”), a startup expo and of course let’s not forget the closing party serving as a meet and great for SXSW festival (see more here).

But that’s really just the beginning of a jam-packed three day program. Look up the rest of the planner here.

You can find them on Facebook or get more information and tickets via the website.
