Melbourne’s throwing a newest beach side Silent Disco Festival

The Switch’s Silent Disco Festival hits the St Kilda Foreshore October 13.

The event will be Australia’s Biggest Silent Disco Beachside Festival and is hosted by the same people who brought you Let Go Fest and Oktober Fest St Kilda, amongst others.

A silent disco is where music is transmitted between headphones instead of over a speaker system and with The Switch promising three different genres, each with a range of music accessible, there will be something for everyone with RnB, commercial, party, sing-a-long and dance music tracks.

And no, this one won’t be in a sketchy dark room – it’s right on St Kilda’s foreshore giving you the ultimate backdrop to party to.

There will also be a special “beer channel” featuring local and live music.

The event will also include numerous other sources of entertainment, such as more then twelve food trucks and amusement rides.

There also VIP tickets, which get you access to a dedicated private bar,
dedicated private toilets, side of main stage vantage point, express entry access to silent disco festival and discounted after party entry.

The event runs at St Kilda Foreshore from 4pm – 10pm Friday October 13
