Leura Park Estate are hosting a massive Barrel Shed Sale

Last chance.

It’s well known that we are fans of a cheeky wine or two… but we also do enjoy a sale, especially when the sale comes at the hands of our beloved winemakers.

Back in the first easing of restrictions, Leura Park Estate celebrated the brief re-opening of their cellar door for wine and cider Take Away sales by hosting a massive Barrel Shed Sale showcasing some of The Bellarine’s biggest brands, guaranteeing something for all wine enthusiasts and budgets.

For the past few months, wine lovers have been able to browse a vast assortment of premium wines from local favourites including Jack Rabbit Vineyard, Yes said the Seal, Leura Park Estate, Nine Yards and Counting and Cat out of the Bag. You’ll find everything from sparkling to pinot grigio, rose’ to cabernet (and a lot of varietals in between!), as well as rare back vintages, loose bottle stock, beautifully aged vintage 2016 clean skin shiraz – and even tiny 187mL bottles of wine are all in the mix.

The real kicker though is the price tags. In addition to the classic stable of Leura Park Estate wines which already offers big half dozen and dozen deal discounts, there are literally hundreds of bottles of wine on offer that only requires a $20 note per bottle (and some for as low as $10 per bottle!).

There’s even the full suite of Flying Brick Cider Co’s traditionally crafted ciders will also be available for purchase for standard Take Away discounts.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Their barrelshed sale is wrapping up this weekend meaning their half price wine sales will be no more… and in celebration you will even be able to mix and match wines across the range for only $15 a bottle (normally $30 – $42 per bottle). You’ll be able to grab a bargain Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

It’s first in, best dressed for the Barrel Shed Sale bargains with strict social distancing rules in place – only four patrons permitted inside the Cellar Door at any one time with separate doors for Entry and Exit and mandatory hand sanitization (sanitizer provided onsite).

Much more than just a drink, wine is an elixir of relaxation, made through complex processes and under much scrutiny – so we’d be downright silly not to stock up! So go on, score a bargain on your favourite drops in the lead-up to the cooler weather and finally enjoy an afternoon appreciating the picturesque sights on the property.

Leura Park will be reopening for sit down dining as of Thursday 8th October.

You can find Leura Park Estate at 1400 Portarlington Road, Curlewis or visit the website.
