Kingswood set for Torquay show armed with new album

Kingswood have emerged from hibernation with a new album under their arm, ready to take on Australia with a national tour.

Recorded in Nashville’s Sound Emporium (which was where influential records from Robert Plant, Alabama Shakes and Pharell were created), new record After Hours, Close To Dawn is due out Friday March 3, 2017.

Their forthcoming album looks to be their most sonically diverse release to date.

“Any perspective on what we should sound like has been thrown out the window,” said Kingswood’s Alex Laska.

The first track from their new album comes in the form of Creepin’, which has already eclipsed 200,000 streams online.

They play Torquay Hotel in Torquay on Sunday, April 16. Get tickets via the website.
