Deer Prudence bring the folk resurgence to Bendigo

As we glide into 2017 leaving a chaotic 2016 behind, the eloquent folk ringing from Melbourne duo Deer Prudence’s guitars is just the soothe we need.

With influences from Joni Mitchell to Eva Cassidy embodying their music, the rural-turned-suburban outfit place themselves at the centre of the Melbourne folk resurgence.

Sam’s Lament was their genesis at the end of last year and Judgement Call seeks to be the propeller. Showcasing wisdom beyond their years, Mariah McCarthy and Georgia Delves divulge angelic harmonies reminiscent of First Aid Kit.

They play Goldmines in Bendigo on February 19.
