It’s Thursday, but we are so ready to cheers to the freakin’ weekend with Cake Bar’s newest creation!
Yep. A Caramilk Cake. Caramel cake layered with thick caramel and Caramilk pieces.
Are you drooling yet? I may have a piece next to me as I write this, and my life has never felt so fulfilled.
While we all know cake makes life worth living, that’s not all they are offering either. They’ve also got a Caramilk Cocktail – Caramilk, Vodka, Kahlua, Caramel, Half ‘n’ Half. Wowee!
This all comes in light of the golden blend of caramelised white chocolate which returned to Australian supermarket shelves due to popular demand as a limited edition, more than 20 years after it was discontinued in 1994.
And people have been going bananas for this treat, with supermarket shelves been wiped and with with consumers willing to spend more than $100 on eBay to stock up. If you follow Cake Bar’s Instastory, you would know the race was on to find these blocks of gold, and despite running all over town, they finally managed to find a few.
And so here we are. Ready to indulge when this hits Cake Bar tomorrow.
This epic masterpiece of sugary goodness also comes just in time to celebrate Cake Bar now been licenced until 1am for craft beers from local breweries including Blackman’s and Jack Rabbit, Leura Park Estate local estate wines and of course … cheeky cocktails.
There’s been a line around the corner since this baby came out of the oven and bookings aren’t required. They are open Mon-Thurs 12pm-10pm and Fri-Sun 12pm – 12am.
