Bad Pony shares 18 songs they can't believe aren't dominating the world

If you thought you knew Bad Pony, their new EP Deficiency is going to shake things up. Hailing from Sydney, this sophomore EP release demonstrates a strong grip on indie rock music delivered with snarl.
Over the years, Bad Pony have continued to generate momentum around their electrifying live show and at this point in 2018, the hype is at a particular high. Their time spent at SXSW saw the acclaim roll in, playing alongside national idols such as Gang of Youths, Bad Pony’s explosive performance at the Aussie BBQ saw them walk away with the award of Best Australian Group, as voted by The AU Review.
In support of their new EP, Bad Pony have given Forte their ’18 Songs I Cannot Believe Aren’t Dominating The World’ playlist…
“One of the very coolest things about being in a band is you get to travel all over the place and meet tonnes of other musicians. This is fantastic because those musicians are often outrageously talented, and it’s also fantastic because they tend to have impeccable music taste. What follows is but a small sampling of artists I’ve been lucky enough to stumble across in all of our travels, or who have been recommended to me by other musicians throughout all of our adventures.
“I suppose it’s a bit of a chaotic list in terms of genre, but the unifying theme is that I just cannot come to terms with the fact that these songs aren’t absolutely massive.”

They’re due to hit Melbourne’s Yah Yah’s on June 15.
