With Victoria’s drinking culture so prominent, it comes as no surprise that Ballarat has taken the title for Top Pub Town.
A good old fashioned pub is the essence of any town, especially local pubs that celebrate good food, cold beer and friendly catch ups.
Ballarat, the self ‘Original Beer Capital of Australia,’ is a trek down the road for many Victorians, a great spot to unwind and sink froffies.
A town rich in stories and history, Ballarat is home to countless pubs that were first opened 150 years ago during the Victorian Gold Rush. Existing as the host of the annual Ballarat Beer Festival, Wotif.com has definitely gotten this one right.
