Too Heavy To Hug #677

Welcome to THTH, Forte’s premier source of all things heavy, hard, fast and metal.

One of the best things about doing this column is the weird shit that comes in my inbox and I received the weirdest, WTF shit ever the other day. Napalm Records, the record label that includes Satyricon, Testament, Cavalera Conspiracy, Hate and countless other metal acts, have recently added Hoobastank to their roster. Yes, the very same Hoobastank who had that radio hit ‘The Reason’ in 2004, and that very same radio hit that was in the final Friends episode.

I don’t know anybody who actually listens to Hoobastank but apparently people do because they’ve sold more than 10 million albums world wide. The band will be releasing a new record via Napalm Records in the first half of next year.
