Welcome to THTH, Forte’s premier source of all things heavy, hard, fast and metal.
This column strives to bring you an important metal news thingo every week. Recently we’ve been focussing on bands who put their names to alcohol because alcohol and music go hand in hand and have done so since the caveman era, and because so many bands are doing it and because talking about alcohol and music is loads of fun.
AC/DC are going to release their own brand of tequila later this year, called Thunderstruck tequila. Previously, THTH has discussed AC/DC’s beer, their wine, how awesome it shoulda been for the bogans that Axl Rose filled in on vocals for the band, and now their tequila.
I really, really, sincerely hope there’s someone out there who’s working on opening a bottle shop that only stocks alcohol associated with bands and those band’s catalogue of music, it’d be all like, “yes, I can suggest Opeth’s Still Life will go nicely with their Pale Communion beer, as opposed to their Pale Communion album which is too soft and polished for an ale..”
