Hey there guys ‘n’ gals, and welcome to yet another issue of Pulp, your home of all things comic-y! I hope you’re all having a grand ol’ time doing whatever it is you do. This week I’ve picked up a resurrected classic in DC’s reboot of their Vertigo series Lucifer.
Hi there everyone! I hope you’re all having a swell week – I’ve just finished celebrating my birthday, so I’m writing this column slightly hungover and quite content. Unfortunately, the twin terrors of life and responsibility have come rampaging back from their brief holiday to remind me there are, in fact, things that I should be doing – primarily, reading comics!
Hey there everyone! I hope you’re all having a grand ol’ time wandering around catching Pokemon – I know am – and, if by some miracle you’ve missed the phenomenon that is Pokemon Go: how on earth did you manage it? Bad weather and almost gale-force winds mean nothing to us aspiring Pokemon masters. But enough about mobile games – it’s time to talk comics!
With the Melbourne International Film Festival just around the corner, now’s your big chance to see a whole bunch of the kind of films usually only seen inside tiny YouTube windows. With the flood of film festivals these days – if you can name a corner of the world, chances are they’ve got their own film festival – MIFF isn’t quite as all-encompassing as it once was.
Well hey there, gang! I hope you’re all enjoying yourselves on this fine, wintery week – I’ve just emerged from what I can only describe as a whirlwind of illness, exam study and sleep deprivation, capped off with a casual 14 hour crash day in which I spent 95% of the day in bed. It’s a tough life, being a student, I tells ya.
Hey there gang! Another week, another issue of Forte, and as usual, another Pulp for you all to get stuck into. It’s been a busy few weeks for me; courtesy of the wonders of tertiary education I’ve been sequestered away in my study frantically revising for exams. At the time of writing I’m about halfway through, so I’m definitely looking forward to the break so I can actually read some damn comics. Speaking of comics, let’s get stuck in – I’ve picked out a doozy for you to check out.
Hello again, and welcome to yet another edition of Pulp! Hope you’re all doing well, and that you’re surviving the wintery chill – I’ve been spending most of my days huddled in a blanket fort to fend off the cold during swotvac.
Hello again, everyone! Hope you’re all having a swell time – at the time of writing this, I’ve just emerged from an assignment-related social exile, and there’s nothing quite like a few days’ worth of writing (or, more likely, pretending to write) about risk management to make you long for a good comic. Luckily for me, this week’s book is a real doozy.
