Sydney Film Festival 2018 presents Sounds on Screen

Music and movies will collate as one throughout this year’s Sydney Film Festival with the Sounds On Screen program.
Sounds on Screen is a celebration of the way films about music and musicians make for some of the most compelling cinema created, shown through a series of musical-themed documentaries, as well as several feature films with a strong musical influence.
Step inside the lives of pioneering punk Joan Jett (Bad Reputation), obsessive boyband fans, artist, activist and pop star M.I.A., revered Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, the incomparable diva Whitney Houston and Afghanistan’s only metal band District Unknown.
