PLATFORM ARTS is temporarily closing onsite operations and events

In response to the COVID–19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Platform Arts has suspended the onsite delivery of all public events, programs, music gigs, performances, workshops and auditions.

The office will be closed to the public until Monday 13 April 2020 (subject to further notice), and all Platform Arts staff will be working remotely during this time.

Executive Producer Ilana Russell and Platform’s Executive Committee of the Board are assessing the situation, and will communicate updates as they are established based on government recommendations.

For those booked to attend performances and events at Platform Arts over this period, the team will be offering full refunds to all ticket holders. Refunds will be processed automatically – you do not need to contact Platform Arts.

“In the interest of public safety and to play our role in slowing the spread of COVID-19 within our region, Platform Arts will be temporarily suspending all programming,” says Platform’s Executive Producer, Ilana Russell. “We are using this opportunity to explore creative methods of engagement using online and digital platforms to collaborate with our community and develop new works within these constraints. It is bolstering to see the arts community lead the charge in social responsibility and continue to find new ways to thrive.”
