This Sunday Dachshunds of all colours and sizes (permitting they measure below 30mm from the shoulder) and their two-legged owners will take to Inverleigh as part of the annual family fun day.
With registration kicking off at 9am, entry is a gold coin donation to observe and $15 if you plan on entering your pooch. Fancy dress is recommended with its own event set for the derby.
Other events on the day will be the Eleven Legged Race (2 people & 2 dogs, Billy Can Race, Pooper Scooper, The Dachshund Derby and the All Breeds Race.
Prizes will be given to those who place first, second and third, though really, witnessing this event everyone is a winner.
It all goes down at Victoria Park in Inverleigh.
