Geelong-turned-Melbourne street artist RONE is having his first solo show in two years

Known for his work creating portraits of women around the world, RONE is having an exhibition showcasing such works.

The exhibition, titled Empty, will be held at the soon-to-be-demolished former Star Lyric Theatre building in Fitzroy. There will be a collection of canvas and paper works as well as a series of photographic pieces for the first time.

RONE (also known as Tyrone Wright) is originally from Geelong but now has works in Paris, London, Miami, Hawaii and more. After starting work as a graphic designer, he made the move to inner-city Melbourne and became RONE.

He was also responsible for the incredible street art piece on the Powerhouse in North Geelong. Which you can see below.

Empty runs from October 14-24 with the opening night held on October 14 from 6-9pm.
