Boom Makers is the newest creative hub for Geelong

Expanding on its creative offering to Geelong, Boom Gallery has recently opened the Boom Makers space across the road.

Essentially, the industrial warehouse is both a studio and retail space run by artists, where visitors (and shoppers) can get further insight into the items they’re buying. This notion encourages buyers to be more aware of supporting local businesses and creatives, with so many throughout the region to support.

Located in Boom Makers is botanical concept store Mali & Wolf, expert and precision picture framer The Frame Shop, silver and gold jeweller Ernest & Joe, macrame hangers by slow.ties and artist Maryla Johns.

The artists and creatives located in the space both sell and create the products from their studio spaces. So it’s a chance to see the items you can buy being made – in particular such is the case for Ernest & Joe and The Frame Shop.

Boom Makers is located across the road from Boom Gallery at 14 Rutland Street, Newtown.
