That's Our Mama

Mama Kin, aka Danielle Caruana, has officially been crowned as the Maton Port Fairy Folk Festival Artist of the Year. It’s quite easy to fall in love with the soulful singing, even if she does make you cry with her heartfelt lyrics. 
The festival director had a little bit to say about the talented songstress: “We have a special rubber stamp for artists who are “The Real Deal” and so we are delighted to stamp Mama Kin as our 21st Artist of The Year – 2015. She plays shows here, on Friday and Saturday only, with We Two Thieves, so let’s share the love. Warmest congratulations to Danielle and many thanks to Vikki Thorn for her tribute,” says  Jamie McKew.
The award is made possible thanks to Maton Guitars and acknowledges those who have made a significant contribution to the folk music industry and community: something Mama Kin has done without argument.
