Sia did alright, picking up the gong for Album of the Year and Best Female Artist among her four wins. Best Male Artist, meanwhile, went to Chet Faker, who also picked up Best Independent Release. Iggy Azalea secured Breakthrough Artist Release while Best Group was picked up by Sheppard. Those 5 Seconds of Summer heartthrobs took out Song of the Year.
