Winner, Winner

After hundreds of song submissions and thousands of votes, the Melbourne Music Bank was finally announced at Wednesday nights final four competition. The top 13 were narrowed down to semi-finalists Under the Arch, Heloise, Selki and NY, with Heloise taking out the grand prize.
Heloise has been performing since she was nine years old, and clearly her experience shone through on the night. From the competition she has won two days of recording time at Sing Sing Studios, a video clip by film maker Wilk, live gigs, album artwork, 500 CDs, PR and marketing advice as well as a hot air balloon ride with competition ambassador Ella Hooper. Her song will also be used in a Bank of Melbourne advertising campaign.
The runner was NY who took his share of prizes as well. He walked away with $500 and a surprise prize of two days recording at Sing Sing studios for his song Your City.
So keep your eyes peeled for two new names likely to be getting a fair bit of mention in the coming months.
