Fenn Wilson’s releases new single ‘Lost My Way’

Fenn Wilson comes from Clifton Springs, is living in Melbourne and will soon be known well beyond those places.

On November 14, Fenn will be releasing his debut album Ghost Heroin, but to keep us interested, he recently released a single from it – ‘Lost My Way’.

“I wrote Lost My Way in the midst of a great period of loss in my life. It addresses the reaching out to figures of security and insecurity in the hope of finding myself and solid direction,” he says.

People are hearing Tom Waits and Jeff Buckley in his voice, but I can also hear his father, Chris, in his tone and phrasing.

There is darkness in this track, there is richness and brightness in its crescendos.

Fenn will be premiering Ghost Heroin on the 2019 Queenscliff stages, having received the 2018 Queenscliff Music Festival’s Emerging Artist of the Year award which partly funded the release. The first single off Ghost Heroin, Eye On You, was warmly received by the music industry, lovers, and critics alike.

He’s been described as captivating audiences, holding them in the palm of his hand solely with the dynamism of his voice.

I’m tempted, I’m hooked. Bring on the album, people will be drawing breath when they hear this.
